THE BIG QUESTION AT CIVICCAMP 3-D

" In the coming year, what do you think are the best opportunities to make Calgary a better place?"

The recent election was monumental for Calgary. New leadership was elected to Calgary's city council and, candidates and citizens engaged not only on door steps, but also on Twitter and Facebook as well as at candidate forums. Perhaps the greatest outcome of this heightened level of engagement was the extent to which citizens conversed with each other about the issues that affected them and about their vision for Calgary. 

So now what?  We want to know what you think about The Big Question at CivicCamp 3-D!

Join us at CivicCamp 3-D on December 4th, 2010 at the Calgary Public Library's John Dutton Theatre. Here is what the day will look like: 

• Registration from 8:30 -9:00am
• What is this thing called CivicCamp? We'll briefly go over the purpose of CivicCamp
• Wasn't the election amazing?! We'll review and discuss CivicCamp's role during the Election
• So now what? We'll see what some of our Aldermen and you think about The Big Question
• Critical mass: Create new Action Groups and work to get things done!

The entire event will run from 8:30am - 12:00pm

The election was just the beginning. There are so many exciting opportunities to help make our vision of Calgary become a reality. So bring your questions, bring your ideas, bring your skills, and most importantly, bring your passion.
